Rayford Brown, Jr., 51

MILFORD - Rayford Brown Jr., of Milford passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 25, 2007, in Bayhealth-Milford Medical Center. He was 51.

Mr. Brown was born on Nov. 3, 1955, to Ruth Brown and the late Rayford Brown.

He was educated in the Milford School District and served briefly in the National Guard. He held several jobs during his lifetime.

He was preceded in death by his father Rayford, Sr., his brother Jon and his sister Muriel.

He is survived by a daughter, Shelly Ruth of Georgetown; his mother, Ruth J. Brown; his sisters, Earlene, Margaret, Roberta, Rainia and Leslie, all of Milford, Ramonia Brown stationed at Fort Lee, Va., Delores Bunch of Mississippi, Annie V. of Alabama and Rachel of Detrioit,; a brother, Charles Edward of Washington; nieces, Kashana, LaQuinta, LaTasha, Tomika, Ruth, Valerie and Demetra, all of Milford and Melissa of Florida; a nephew, Larry of Milford; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 274 N. Rehoboth Blvd., Milford, where friends may call two hours earlier.

Burial will be private.
