HOUSTON - Ralph L. Jump, Jr. passed away at home on Apr. 9, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph L. Jump, Sr. and Myra W. Jump; his sister, Mary Hollis; and a great-grandson, Jonathan L. Jump, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Shirley Patricia (Elliott) Jump, five children; Christine Melton (Owen "Bud"), Susan Stup (Jerry), James Jump (Debbie), Ginger McDaniel (William "Chip"), and Jonathan Jump (Karen); 12 grandchildren; Scott, Melissa, Katie, Ashley, Adam, Holly, Brian, Brandon, Emily, Sarah, Jimmy, and Michelle; eight great-grandchildren; Winter, Bria, Shea, Garrett, Layna, Elijah, Sophia, and Gianna. There will be a memorial celebration of his life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
