Ralph A. Dickerson

MILFORD - Ralph A. Dickerson, of Milford, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 15, 2015. Mr. Dickerson was born in Lewes, Del., the son of the late Walton M. and Ruth (Lynch) Dickerson. He retired from the Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant and then worked for Sears as a repair man. He was a member of Cool Spring Presbyterian Church in Lewes. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Hopkins Dickerson; his sister, Nancy Hitchens; and his son, Rex Allen Dickerson in 1996. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Dickerson; daughters, Reina K. Dickerson, Melissa Braun and her husband Robert, Leslie A. McMillan and her husband Mike, and Jennifer L. Lynch; brother, Jay and his wife Ruth Ann Dickerson; and grandchildren, Michelle Lynn Dickerson, Tyrone Girven Jr., Mikala Jefferson, Brody McMillan, and Marlie McMillan. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, DE 19968 where friends may call after 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Cool Springs Presbyterian Church in Lewes, DE. Flowers are accepted, or, donations in Ralph's memory can be made to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriot's Way, Milford, DE 19963.
