Phyllis Rebecca Kreisher

Phyllis Rebecca Kreisher, 86

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Phyllis Rebecca Kreisher of Lewisburg died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at her home. She was 86.

A native of Union County, Mrs. Kreisher was born in Vicksburg on Nov. 3, 1920, daughter of the late Charles Oliver and Alma Rebecca (Stover) Wolfe.

On Feb. 14, 1945, she married Franklin Elkin Kreisher, who preceded her in death in October 1974.

Mrs. Kreisher was a graduate of Vicksburg High School.

She retired as department manager for the Sears store in Dover, Del., in 1982, after 25 years of service.

Mrs. Kreisher was a member of the Peoples Congregational United Church of Christ, Dover.

She is survived by four sons, Jack Leslie Kreisher of Austin, Texas, Franklin Keith Kreisher of Atlanta, Ga., Alan Kent Kreisher of Wilmington, Del., and Michael Kirk Kreisher of Paducah, Ky.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Frances Lenora Daughery of Lewisburg; and two brothers, Roger Stover Wolfe of Lewisburg, and Donald Franklin Wolfe of New Berlin.

Friends and relatives are invited to Phyllis" home at 69 Sunset Road, Lewisburg, from 3 to 7 p.m. today to join her family as they celebrate her life.

The family asks that donations in Phyllis" memory be made to a local March of Dimes fundraiser event.

Funeral arrangements are by the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and 8th streets, Lewisburg.
