Philip W. Esler

SMYRNA - Philip W. Esler of Smyrna, Del. passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Pinnacle Health Care in Smyrna. Mr. Esler was born Sept. 9, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minn., to the late Clyde Leroy Esler and Inez Lorene Noland Esler. He retired after over 30 years of work as a Maintenance Engineer for Apex Piping in Newport, Del. He was a very loving man. He raised his children from infancy all by himself. He loved building things and gadgets and enjoyed watching old movies. He also loved the Lord and loved his dogs. He was proud to have helped develop a World War II Memorial located in Washington, DC. He is survived by two daughters, Christine Fagioli and her husband Richard of Smyrna, and Dawn Bryant of Minnesota; a son, Robert Esler and his wife Robin of Clayton, DE; four brothers; two sisters; and one grandson, Richard, III.
