Perry Carlton Mosley, 59

Perry Carlton Mosley of Bowers Beach died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover, surrounded by his family. He was 59.

Mr. Mosley was born Nov. 21, 1947, in Cheswold, son of the late William Carlton and Bertha (Sammons) Mosley.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Mosley was a master plumber before becoming disabled in 1989.

He enjoyed putting model cars together, working in the yard and being with his friends at dialysis, but he got the most enjoyment by being with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Mosley was a life member of the Bowers Beach Volunteer Fire Department, as well as past president; he was also a member of the Frederica Senior Center.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy (Jackson) Mosley; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Stephen II and Erica Vockel of Harrington and David Stratman of Bowers Beach; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Stephanie and Jerry Wales, of Dover and Cristi and John Trego of Harrington; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Ike Carney of Cheswold, Patricia Ozment of Dover, Lauren Ann and John Sullivan of Milford; nine grandchildren, Paige Dennison, Roy Hall, Melissa Hall, Tyler Vockel, Dylan Vockel, and Cierra Trego, Caleb Vockel, Brayden Vockel and Ashlee Stratman; nieces and nephews, Tina Szabo, Jake Carney, Beverly Pierce; a special friend, Daniel Birdwell; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many loving friends.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Bowers Beach Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 348, Frederica, DE 19946.
