BRIDGEVILLE - Ms. Peggy A. Collison passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Season's Hospice at Christiana Care Hosptal. She was 63 years old.
Peggy was born Aug. 31, 1953 to the late John D. McMullen. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her grandmother, Bessie Sherwood McCracken.
Peggy retired from WalMart in 2016 after 25 years of service. Peggy enjoyed camping, playing card games, cooking, decorating and spending time with her friends and family.
Peggy is survived by her son, Larry Yearsley of Greenwood, Del.; her mother, Audrey S. Holloway of Dover; brothers, Steve McMullen of Frederica Del., John and Mary Jane McMullen of Camden-Wyoming Del.; sisters, Patsy Fortney and John Thorsten of Roanoke, Virginia, Penny Pennington of Greenwood, Del. and Bessie Gallo and Randy Layton of Bridgeville, Del., with whom she lived and Peggy's nieces and nephews.
A small celebration of life get together will be held June 11th 2017 at the Harrington Moose Lodge 1 p.m. to 3 pm.
Light hors d'oeuvrers provided. Please come and share in our celebration of life for Peggy Collison.
