Pearl Esther Suddler, 82

PHILADELPHIA - Pearl Esther Suddler, 82, of Philadelphia, passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, in the Caring Heart Nursing Home. She was born on Jan. 24, 1927, in Wyoming, Del., daughter of the late Powell and Helen (Meade) Suddler. Pearl was a domestic worker in housekeeping. She also was a foster parent for over 10 years. She is survived by five children, Alexis Crowner of Philadelphia, Alonzo Bush of Dover, Danette Anderson and her husband Milton of Philadelphia, Wallace Bush and his wife Sherleta of Magnolia, and Ruth Ella McFarland and her husband Lamond of Philadelphia; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren; and three brothers, Jerome Suddler of California, Homer Suddler of New Jersey, and Paul Suddler of Milford. Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call two hours earlier. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses.
