Paul T. Insolo, 87

MIDDLETOWN - Paul T. Insolo of Middletown passed away on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, in Union Memorial Hospital in Elkton, Md. He was 87.

Born on July 1, 1920, in Townsend, he was the son of the late Herbert and Mary (Tush) Insolo.

Mr. Insolo proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and later served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

In 1983, Mr. Insolo retired from the U.S. Postal Service with more than 40 years of dedicated service.

He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and a life member of the Volunteer Hose Co. of Middletown.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Catherine (Buckworth) Insolo; a daughter, Diane Insolo Taylor and her husband, Merle of Middletown; a son, Paul T. Insolo Jr. of Newark; three grandchildren, Wendy Taylor, Todd Taylor and Tricia Hickey and her husband, George; four great-grandchildren, Jesse and Garrett Taylor and Chance and Dayton Hickey.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service and from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

Interment will be in Forest Cemetery.
