Paul S. Strencejewski

MILTON - Paul S. Strencejewski, age 75, of Milton, and Port St. Lucie, Fla., passed away April 29, 2011, in St. Lucie Medical Center. Paul was born Sept. 27, 1935, in Buffalo, N.Y. Paul was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving during both the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. He retired in 1977 as a Master Sergeant. He worked for Cecil County and the Town of Elkton (Md.), before moving to Rehoboth Beach to work for Camelot and the Lehman family. Paul was a member of the American Legion Post 318 in Port St. Lucie and the Spanish Lakes Shuffle Board Club. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Carol (Othoson) LeGates Strencejewski of Milton, and Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a son, Stanley Strencejewski, Hollywood, Fla.; daughters, Linda Berkhimer, North East, Md., Shelly Brown, Huntingdon, Pa., and Kimberly Beard, Seaford; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sisters, Teri McManus, Yuba City, Calif., and Rose LaBruzzo, Meadville, Pa. Interment will be 2 p.m., Friday, June 24, in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at Crossroads Bible Church, 144 Appleton Road, Elkton, Md. In lieu of flowers, contributions, in Paul's memory can be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements in the care of Yates Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL and Short Funeral Services, Milton.
