SEAFORD - Paul R. Porter, age 85, of Seaford, died on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011. Mr. Porter retired from AT&T in 1983 after 33 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of WW II, a member of the NRA, the Pioneer Club, and the Archeological Society. His wife, Mary Ellen Porter died in 2004. He is survived by his son, Kim Porter and his wife Kathy of Delmar; two daughters, Karen Reichelt and her husband Paul of Hartley and Teresa Kennard and her husband, John of Reading, Pa.; a sister, Jacqueline Burtelle of Seaford; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 Shipley St., Seaford, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 1120 G. Street, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20005.
