DOVER - Paul P. Edwards, Sr. passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 at his home, with his dedicated caregiver, Anna Borntreger, by his side. He was born Sept. 30, 1925 in Edwardsville. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mary Helen Edwards on Nov. 27, 2012. He drove a truck for Paradee Oil Co. for 33 years and was an avid farmer and gardener. He was a WWII veteran. He is survived by his four children, Vicky D. Dawes, of Marydel, Bonnie L. Fletcher and husband, Jim, of Kingsport, Tenn., Douglas D. Edwards and his wife, Connie, of Dover, Paul P. Edwards, Jr. and his wife, Shawn, of Dover; also his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
