Paul M. Powell, 91

SEAFORD - Paul M. Powell, formerly of Laurel, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, in Methodist Manor House, Seaford. He was 91. Mr. Powell is survived by his wife June Powell; daughters, Anne Nyce and husband Henry, and Nancy Pfister and husband Joe; sons, Donald Powell, DMV and wife Rita, and John Powell and wife Barbara; a brother, Robert C. Powell; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2009 at St. George's United Methodist Church, St. George's Rd., Delmar, where a viewing will be from 2 to 3 p.m. The Rev. Dale Evans will officiate. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Laurel. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Georges UM Church, c/o Rich Culver, 28996 Discountland Rd., Laurel, DE 19956.
