Paul Franklin Church born on October 10, 1951, departed this life October 18, 2021. He was the son of the late Paul Church and Caroline Sahota Church.
He attended Caesar Rodney High school, while attending school Paul met the absolute love of his life Marilyn Frazier. Paul went to work with his father at Church's body shop on Carver Rd., in Dover, Del. After his fathers retirement he took over the business until it closed in the early 90's. Paul then continued to do auto body a craft he loved and perfected, eventually putting that talent to use working with his good friend Jimmy Darling. When Paul wasn't doing auto body, he enjoyed his days spending time with family which was most important to him. Paul enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques, attending bike and car shows, riding his Harley and catching up with old friends, especially his best friend Peter Pappas.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul Church; his daughter, Shonna Nicole Church; and his sister, Grace Mast.
Paul is survived by his wife, Marilyn; mother, Caroline Church; sons, Jason Church/ Kerrin Klindienst and their children Jason Church Jr., Haley Church and Abigail Klindienst-Tapia, Jesse/ Courtney Church and their children Jared Church, Dane Church and Hunter Warren of Dover; sister, Carolyn Peregrine and husband Charles of Felton; brother, Eugene Church/Kelly of Hartly; mother in law, Ruth Sweetman Frazier; brother in law, Virgil Frazier II /Glenys Frazier of Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Traders Funeral home where friends and family may call or visit from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Services will follow, burial will be at Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, to help cover funeral expenses donations can be made to Marilyn Church, 167 Haman Dr., Dover, DE 19901.
