Paul A. Harmon, 46

DOVER - Paul A. Harmon, of Dover, died Monday, May 26, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 46.

Mr. Harmon was born Jan. 21, 1962, in Logan County, W.Va., to the late Shirley Edward Harmon and Laura Crowder Harmon Lewis.

Mr. Harmon served in the U.S. Navy.

Following his service, he entered the surveying field. He was most recently employed as an inspector for Century Engineering in Dover.

He was a member of Dover Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks 1903.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends, and all holidays.

Mr. Harmon is survived by his wife, Shelley; mother, Laura Lewis and stepfather Max of Dover; four stepsons, Christopher, Ryan, Tyler and Adam Kotzian; two sisters, Vicky Brodeur of Dublin, Va., and Tracy Perez of Riverside, Calif.; and nieces and nephews, Laura Welser, April, Amber and Thomas Brodeur, Brittany, Scott and Kelsey Lewis, and Andrew and Jenna Kaiser.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior to the service and from 7-9 p.m. Thursday.

Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Elks National Foundation, 2750 N. Lakeview Ave., Chicago, IL 60614.
