SLAUGHTER NECK - Patricia Roxanne "Pat" Green-Williams, of Slaughter Neck, departed this life on July 31, 2010, at Milford Memorial Hospital, Milford. Pat was born Aug. 25, 1955, in Chester, Pa. She is the daughter of the late Charles Green Sr. and Sarah E. Green. She has lived in Slaughter Neck since 1969. Pat worked for the State of Delaware, Division of Corporations for 20 years as a Corporation Specialist. Pat was known for her pleasant smile and warm hugs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Williams Sr.; her parents; and her brother, Charles S. Green Jr. Pat is survived by her sons, Frank J. Williams, Jr., and Roosevelt S. Williams of Slaughter Neck; five sisters, Gladys Barnett, Kathryn Anderson (James), Marie Loper, Encie McCoy, and Valerie Trott (Nathaniel); and one brother Thomas S. Green; one sister-in-law, Catherine Green; two aunts, Melinda Horne, and Virginia Hearne; three grandchildren, and three godchildren, and a host of family and friends. The Celebration of life service will be held at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 23115 Slaughter Neck Road, Lincoln, on Friday Aug. 6, 2010. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by the services. Interment at Old Hickory Cemetery, Slaughter Neck. Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home. www.benniesmithfuneralhome.com
