GREENWOOD - Patricia "Pattie" L. Gerres (nee Mckinley) passed away on July 11, 2012, at home with her loving husband of 45 years, Roger Gerres at her side. She suffered with bladder and lung cancer. Pattie was born in Wilmington, Del. on December 1, 1943. She graduated from Conrad High School. She worked for DuPont at the Center Road Building. She retired early and moved to Greenwood with Roger and they enjoyed her retirement years here. Pattie enjoyed Motorhoming with Roger and spent many happy miles traveling all over the country. She is survived by her husband, Roger; her brother, Alan Start and his wife Cindy of Wilmington, Del.; and her sister-in-law, Mary Louise Rosenberger of Elkton, Md.; an aunt, Carol Ewing of Rehoboth, Del.; and an uncle, Donald Ewing and his wife Lois of Seaford, Del.
