Patricia Ann Richards, 80
DOVER - Patricia Ann Richards, of Dover, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009, in Silver Lake Nursing Home. She was 80. Mrs. Richards was born June 15, 1928, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Eva Marie Wilson. She worked at McCory's, the Elks Club, and the Hollywood Diner throughout her life. Mrs. Richards enjoyed bowling at Dover-Roma Lanes for many years. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and going to Texas Holdem events, going to Dover Downs and playing the penny slots and going to the Camden/Wyoming Moose Lodge with her son Paul. Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Richards in 2001. She is survived by her two sons, Michael James Richards Sr. of Milford, Paul Richards of Dover; her daughter, Kim and her husband Mark Wilson of Ohio; three grandchildren, Michael James Richards Jr. of Milford, Jamie Wilson of Ohio and Heather Days and her husband Jason of Ohio; a loving and devoted friend, Frances Wilson of Dover; two step-granddaughters, Dallas and her husband Frank Bebout of Dover and Tara James of Dover; two great step-grandchildren, London and Beckham of Dover. Funeral services will be held noon Thursday in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Route 10). Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 1151 Walker Road, Suite 202, Dover, DE 19904.
