Patricia Ann O'leary, 75

DOVER - Patricia Ann O'leary, of Dover, passed away Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, in her home surrounded by family. She was 75. She was born July 24, 1933, in Elmira, N.Y., to the late Walter and Margaret Clancy Burlce. She was a graduate of Southside High School and St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing both in Elmira, N.Y. In 1968, Patricia moved to Dover with her husband. Beyond raising eight children and working various capacities of nursing throughout her professional career which ended in 2003. Faith and family were of most importance to her. She will be missed dearly. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, William J. O'Leary Sr. of Dover; son, William J. O'Leary Jr. of Lancaster, Pa.; son, Christopher G. O'Leary of Dover; son, Michael J. O'Leary of Westborough, Mass.; daughter, Kathleen O'Leary Weyant of Dover; daughter, Margaret O'Leary McElligott of Magnolia; daughter, Clare M. O'Leary of Baltimore, Md.; daughter, Mary O. Kane of Baltimore, Md.; daughter, Ann O'Leary Amato of Oakmont, Pa.; and grandchildren, Patrick M. O'Leary, Molly A. McElligott, Robert E. McElligott, Julia M. O'Leary, Thomas W. Kane, Aidan O. Kane. Mass of Christian Burial will be noon Thursday in Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover. A gathering of friends and family will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Trader Funeral Home, Dover. Letters of condolences may be sent to www.delmarvaobits.com or traderfh@aol.com.
