BARCLAY, Md. - Patricia Ann Henley, 73, of Barclay, died June 1, 2009, in her home. Mrs. Henley was born on July 20, 1935, in Chestertown, the first Queen Anne's County baby born in Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Louis H. and Florence Leutner Atkinson. Mrs. Henley had lived in Chestertown and after her husband's retirement they returned to Barclay in 1987. Mrs. Henley was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Church Hill, and the Frank M. Jarman American Legion Post 36 Auxiliary. She enjoyed classical music. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Atkinson; and two sisters, Betty Everett and Dorothy Kane. Mrs. Henley is survived by her husband of 55 years, James W. Henley; a daughter, Bonita Kinsinger of Harrisburg, Pa.; a brother, Louis H. Atkinson of Dade City, Fla.; and a granddaughter, Jessica Kinsinger of Knoxville, Tenn. Service will be private. Memorials may be offered to Hospice of Queen Anne's 255 Comet Dr. Centreville, MD, 21617. Arrangements by Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech.
