Orville Lonnie McAdams, 61
GREENWOOD - Orville Lonnie McAdams of Greenwood died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, at his home after a short illness. He was 61.
Mr. McAdams was born in Corydon, Ind., on Nov. 1, 1945, son of Harvey Sr. and Kathryn (Mauck) McAdams.
He worked for Playtex Family Products, Dover, retiring in 2006 after 17 years of service.
Mr. McAdams owned and trained harness race horses, being involved with horses since his teens. He enjoyed going to horse sales and auctions.
He was a member of the U.S. Trotting Association in Ohio and a member of the Moose Lodge in Harrington.
Mr. McAdams loved going back to Indiana to hunt for mushrooms and ginseng.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sylvia Baker McAdams; one son, Carl Lee Wolfe of Greenwood; three brothers, Richard McAdams of Felton, Eldon McAdams of Corydon, and Harvey McAdams Jr. of Paolia, Ind.; two sisters, Linda Lowe of Owensville, Ind., and Elsie Swarrens of Clarksville, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 48 W. Market St., Greenwood. Friends may call Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
