Orville A. Mosley, Sr.

CHESWOLD - Orville A. Mosley, Sr., of Cheswold, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at Bayhealth Hospital, Dover. In addition to his parents, Wilbur and Mary Alma Mosley, he was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Mosley; and a sister, Ruth Turner. He is survived by his three children, Orville A. Mosley Jr. and wife Lisa of Cheswold, Loretta Hooks and husband Russell of Dover, and Lorraine Flamer and husband Fred of Cheswold; two brothers, William (Christine) and Leroy Mosley, both of Dover; three sisters, Virginia Thomas of Philadelphia, Agnes Hutchins of Dover, and Edith Stevens of Hartly; ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be noon, Saturday, Nov. 7, at Crossroad Christian Church, Dover, where friends and family may view from 10 a.m. to noon. Interment will follow at Fork Branch Cemetery, Dover.
