Norris Pug Hudson
MILFORD - Norris Pug Hudson passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 9, 2021.
Norris was born June 10, 1934, in Frankford, DE to Fred and Pearl (Bunting) Hudson. Norris was the one of eight children, four sisters (Fredonia, Angleine, Millie, and Wilsie) and three brothers (Halton, Orrie, Dale). He graduated from John M. Clayton HS in Frankford in 1952.
Norris proudly served his country and worked for the City of Dover Electric Company for over 30 years before retiring to enjoy his golden years traveling with his beloved wife, Aliene.
He was known for his humor, laughter, and caring heart. Norris was always leading a helping hand, encouraging word to those in need and shared his wisdom to all those who would listen.
Norris was the caring and loving husband of Aliene Amanda Hudson. Their marriage lasted 64 wonderful years and brought two wonderful children, Dennis Hudson (Marie) and Denise Dutton (Steve); five grandchildren, Eric Dutton (Staci), Jordan Dutton (Grace), Megan McIlvain (Jonathan), Amanda Hudson-Ziegler (Warren) and Morgan Hudson (Chris); eight great-grandchildren, Paige Dutton, Payton Dutton, Parker Dutton, Oliva Miller, Reagan Dutton, Hudson Dutton, Jacqueline McIlvain, and Hazel Dutton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 1 p.m. in the sanctuary of Independent Bible Fellowship Church, 6797 Milford-Harrington Hwy., Harrington, DE 19952. A time of visitation will begin at 12 noon. Interment will be at Milford Community Cemetery.
