Nolan Francis Hutson

Nolan Francis Hutson, 69

FELTON - Nolan Francis Hutson, of Felton, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at home. He was 69.

Nolan was born in Felton, son of the late Roland and Mabel (Clark) Hutson.

He was a mechanic for Kent County Department of Transportation for 19 years, retiring in 2000. He also worked for Bolan Motors and Winner Ford from 1962 to 1984.

He was a member of the Harrington Senior Center.

He enjoyed NASCAR and stock car racing.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Gladys (Brown) Hutson; his sons, Jack Hutson and his wife Terry of Felton, Lawrence "Larry" Hutson and his wife Linice of Texas, and Roy Hutson and his wife Tammy of Felton; his daughters, Marie Vickery and her husband John of West Palm Beach, Fla., and June Semans and her husband Ronnie of Felton; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend special thanks during Nolan's illness to the Delaware Hospice and his granddaughter, Amanda Eaton.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at noon in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton, where friends may call Monday night from 7 to 9 p.m.

Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.
