MILLSBORO - Noah Lee Hopkins Jr., formerly of Millsboro departed this life on Jun. 18, 2017. Noah was born on Oct. 30, 1923. Noah served in US Army during World War II. Noah was married in 1951 to the late Catherine E. Street.
Junior leaves a legacy of love, and fond memories forever to three sons, Sherman (Dorcas) Hopkins, Sr. (Sewell, N.J.), Gregory Hopkins (Dover), Gerald (Melissa) Hopkins (Leonardtown, Md.); three daughters, Martha and Veronica Hopkins and Janice Williams (Dover); nine grandchildren, Krystal Sturgis, Latoya (Dawn) Hopkins, Sherman (Angelique) Hopkins, Jr., Gregory Givens, Treviss (Stacey) Givens, Lance Hopkins, Ashley Williams, Juree Hopkins and Colin Hamilton; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin (Frances) Hopkins and Kendall Hopkins (Milton); one sister, Lillian Kenney (Delmar, Md.); three brothers-in-law, John Morris (St. Augustine, Fla.), William Daisey, Sr. (Dover), Norman (Janell) Street (San Diego, Calif.); two sisters-in-law, Elaine Street (Bridgeton, N.J.) and Doris Street (California); and a host of relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held on Jun. 25, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division Street, Dover, DE 19901. Celebration of Life service will be Jun. 26, 2017, at 1 p.m. at First Millsboro Seventh-day Adventist Church, 30007 Cordrey Rd., Millsboro with viewing two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at First Millsboro Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery. Professional arrangements entrusted to Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the Church.
