Nelson W. 'Mouse' Draper, 79
DOVER - Nelson W. "Mouse" Draper of Dover passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at home. He was 79.
Mr. Draper was born June 10, 1928, in Greensboro, Md., son of the late Nelson Draper Sr. and Pearl Wheeler Draper.
He worked as an insurance salesman for Combined Insurance Co. for several years before retirement.
Mr. Draper was a U.S. Navy and Air Force veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the American Legion David C. Harrison Post 14, Smyrna, and the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post 2, Dover.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Terry Lee Holland; and a sister, Jeanette Schmidt.
He is survived by three daughters, Lorraine Casteele, Lori Draper and Lisa Johnson and her husband Steve, all of Smyrna; a brother, Johnny Draper of Denton, Md.; three sisters, Kathleen Dill of Greensboro, Md., Shirley Redden of Ridgely, Md. and Carolyn Brown of Md.; five grandsons and two great-grandchildren; a close cousin, Lorraine Martin of Boothwyn, Pa.; and lots of good friends.
Services will be private and burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
Arrangements are by Faries Funeral Directors and Crematorium, 29 South Main St., Smyrna.
