Lakeland, FLA - Nancy B. Keiser (Nan) died quietly at home on Sept. 25, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband, William T. Keiser in 1979; she is survived by Pat Keiser Lewis, of Tampa, Fla.; Michael W. and Rocio Keiser and their son, Lucas Keiser, 4, of San Francisco, Calif.; and John and Kim Keiser Cooper, of Nashua, N.H., and their sons, Phillip Ryan Cooper, 27, and Robert Taylor, Cooper, 24, both currently serving in the Navy. Nan was born near Clayton to Olan and Mary Bamberger. She worked at a local grocery store while attending Smyrna High School, graduated in 1946, and worked at Everhart Brothers. Married in 1952, Nan worked for a number of local businesses while her children were in school. As her children went to college, Nan went back to school. She earned dual Associates degrees at Delaware Technical and Community College, managing the practice lab there while earning her Bachelor's at Wesley College and her Master's in Business Administration at Wilmington College. Nan was passionate about education and thoroughly enjoyed working with her students at technical colleges in Dover, Phoenix, Ariz., and Tampa, Fla. She loved reading, needlework, crossword puzzles, and had a huge soft spot for cats, dogs, and the ducks that came up on her apartment patio. No services were held at Nan's request.
