MILLINGTON, Md. - Myrtle Faulkner Cahall died peacefully Aug. 31, 2018 at home.
Mrs. Cahall was born on June 24, 1933 in Centreville, Md., daughter of the late Harry and Lida Mae Dawkins Faulkner. She was raised in Centreville where she was a 1952 graduate of Centreville High School. She married in 1953 and in 1967 she and her husband moved to their farm in Chesterville.
Mrs. Cahall was an active member of Olivet United Methodist Church and their United Methodist Women, helping coordinate dinners. She was also a member of the Questers and had been a member of both Queen Anne's and Kent Homemakers. She enjoyed collecting antiques.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, J. Walter Cahall, Sr. in 2015 and a brother, William Faulkner.
Mrs. Cahall is survived by her children, John W. Cahall Jr. 'Buddy' of Millington and Janice L. Cahall of Dover; and two grandchildren, Marshal Cahall and Katy Camisky.
Friends may call Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, Md. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. in Olivet United Methodist Church, Galena. Burial will follow in Crumpton Cemetery.
