Myrtle Blanchfield, 96 BLACKBIRD - Myrtle Blanchfield, age 96, of Blackbird, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010. She is survived by her daughters, Esther Barthelmeh of Middletown, and Sandy Blanchfield of Bear, as well as, Betty Bailey of Dover who she raised like a daughter; two sons, Robert Blanchfield of Kernersville, N.C., and Larry Blanchfield of Roxboro, N.C.; four sisters, Laura Lugovoy of New Castle, Martha Large of Beaver Falls, Pa., Rosie Moore of Millington, Md., and Ida Mae Ford of Blackbird; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and many dear nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, June 20 at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown, where family and friends may visit from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Townsend Cemetery. www.daniels-hutchison.com
