Myrtle B. Brittingham, 95

SMYRNA - Myrtle B. Brittingham of Smyrna passed away at home on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008. She was 95.

Mrs. Brittingham was born July 24, 1912, in Sudlersville, Md., daughter of the late William and Georgia (Starkey) Burris.

She owned and operated Coma Trailer Court in Smyrna with her late husband, James W. Brittingham.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Joan Hitchens and Margaret "Peggy" Roe.

She is survived by two sons, Robert F. Alexander of Sudlersville and Charles W. Brittingham of Smyrna; a sister, Beulah Schwatka and her husband Clarence of Townsend; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
