Morris E. Forrest

Morris E. Forrest, 83

MILLSBORO - Morris E. Forrest of Millsboro, formerly of Ocean View, Va., passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, in his home. He was 83.

Mr. Forrest was born in Mathews, Va., son of the late William and Mamie (Machen) Forrest.

He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army.

He was a retired deckhand for the Allied Towing Co., Norfolk, Va.

Mr. Forrest enjoyed watching crime and drama on television in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilson Forrest and William Forrest.

He is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Dailey, with whom he lived; two nieces and their husbands, Cheryl and Harry Kane of Yeadon, Pa., and Mary Lou and Larry Kinsolving of Newark; and two nephews, John Dailey of Lansdowne, Pa., and John Forrest, and his wife, Myra, of Gilbertsville, Pa.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, DE 19966.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, 318 S. Du Pont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947.
