Minnie M. Cubbage, 70

FREDERICA - Minnie M. Cubbage, of Frederica, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, at John Hopkins Hospital. She was 70. Mrs. Cubbage was born Aug. 28, 1938, in Dover, to Cummins Wolf and Arlis Bryant Wolf. She worked for Caesar Rodney School District in child nutrition for 20 years retiring in 1999. Mrs. Cubbage was a member of the Delaware Senior Olympics thru Modern Maturity of Dover. She enjoyed cross stitching, embroidering, her garden and flowers. Mrs. Cubbage loved being with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and her four legged grandchildren, Cinnamon and Rocky. Mrs. Cubbage was preceded in death by her father, Cummins Wolf; and two brothers, John and Iven Wolf. She is survived by her mother, Arlis Wolf of Wyoming; her husband of 53 years, James Cubbage of Frederica; two sons, Robert Cubbage and his wife Lynette and Jim Cubbage, all of Frederica; her daughter, Arlis Beebe of Dover and her son-in-law John Beebe of Dover; her brother, James Wolf of Dover; three sisters, Georgia Irwin and her husband Chandler of Chesapeake City, Md., Ellen Cavins and her husband Philip of Dover, Doris Brown and her husband Jaye of Wyoming; six grandchildren, Heather Beebe Hutchins, Danielle, Matthew and Jeffrey Beebe, all of Dover, James "Dude" and Gab Cubbage of Frederica; and one great-grandson, Avery. Funeral services will be noon, Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
