Milton J. Karbaum, Sr., 91 SUDLERSVILLE, MD - Milton J. Karbaum, Sr. passed away on January 22, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Karbaum was born on December 30, 1931 in Delaware, son of the late Karl J. and Jennie Becker Karbaum. During the depression his family moved to Kent County and for over 60 years has lived in Queen Anne's County. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. After his honorable discharge he worked as a mechanic where he owned and operated Milts Auto in Chestertown for over 30 years. He was a charter member of the Delmarva Sportsman's Association. Milton loved the outdoors, hunting, trapping and camping but most enjoyed time spent with his family. Along with his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Mary Louise Bush Karbaum in 1981; and his brother, Frank Herbert Karbaum. Mr. Karbaum is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan McGuire Karbaum; his children, Carolyn Walls (Chuck) of Sudlersville, MD, Edgar Stubbs (Barbara) of Easton, MD, Cindy Stubbs (Sonny) of Palm Bay, FL, Sylvia Karbaum of Smyrna, DE, Milton Karbaum, Jr. (Dawn) of Sudlersville, MD, Roland Karbaum (Dottie) of Price, MD and Lori Porter of Sudlersville, MD; special son, LeRoy Davis (Sherry); 14 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 1 p.m. in Crumpton Cemetery, Crumpton, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Compass Regional Hospice, 160 Coursevall Dr., Centreville, MD 21617 or Faith Bible Church, 407 Dudley Corner Rd., Sudlersville, MD 21668.
