Mildred Louise Kibler, 84
GREENSBORO, Md. - Mildred Louise Kibler of Greensboro, with her daughter Ruth Wells for the last seven years, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, in the University of Maryland, Medical Center, Baltimore. She was 84.
She was born Sept. 2 1923, in Sandtown, Del., to the late Obe and Annie Hutson Melvin.
Mrs. Kibler was a lifetime resident of the area.
She was a homemaker and helped her husband run the family farm.
Mrs. Kibler was also employed by the Greensboro Shirt Factory and then by Playtex of Dover for 21 years, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of the Ladies of Moose Lodge 534, Harrington and St. Benedict"s Catholic Parish, Ridgely.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Edward Kibler in 1984; and a son, Richard Zareo.
Mrs. Kibler is survived by three sons, James Kibler of Felton, Del., Willie Kibler and Harry Kibler, both of Greensboro; one stepson, Eddie Kibler of Goldsboro; two daughters, Ruth Wells of Greensboro and Betty Ann Jackson of Laurel, Del.; two stepdaughters, Peggy Lofland of Marydel and Joyce Sprinkle of Dover, Del.; three sisters, Anna Mae Squires of Henderson, Pearl Elliott of Salisbury, and Peggy Bartz of Henderson; 20 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Benedicts Catholic Church, Central Ave., Ridgely.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Greensboro.
