Mildred Grace West

Seaford - Mildred Grace West departed this life on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at her residence. Born in Seaford (Concord), she was the daughter of the late William Garfield West and Annie Elizabeth Roberts. Ms. West was a member of Mt. Calvary A.M.E. Church. Prior to retiring in 1992, she taught in the Cinnaminson School District for more than 35 years. She will be lovingly remembered by: two daughters, Cheryl Lynn (Barry, Sr.) Crawford of Dover and Karen Renee (Harvey) Dixon of Marietta, GA; a devoted sister and brother-in-law, Ruth W. and William Bill Palmer, who were also her loving caregivers, of Seaford (Concord); four grandsons, Barry C. Crawford, Jr., Michael Crawford, Jeremy Crawford, and Kevin Dixon; several other relatives and friends. Ms. West will lie in repose on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Mt. Calvary A.M.E. Church, 25206 School Road, Seaford (Concord). The funeral service will begin at 12 PM. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Seaford (Concord). A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A. in Salisbury, MD. Please visit www.lewisnwatsonfuneralhome.com to offer condolences to the family.
