MILLINGTON,Md.- Michelle Lynn Russum died Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at her home in Millington.
Michelle L. Russum was born Feb. 1, 1984 in Elkton, Md. the daughter of Charlotte "Small" Dodge and the late Edward Lee Fields. Michelle grew up in Clayton and was a 2002 graduate of Smyrna High School. After graduation Michelle went to work for a few years before eventually earning her Master's degree in Accounting from Capella University. Michelle was a hard worker and over the years it was not uncommon for her to have more than one job at a time. For the last 13 years she worked for Discover as a Corporate Compliance Manager. She enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing in the Outer Banks, walking, exercising, trips to the beach, reading and her animals.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon "Buddy" Russum; one daughter, Olivia Paige Russum; two sons, Ethan Ezekiel Russum, Kai Phoenix Russum all of Millington; one half - sister, Melissa Ann Fields of Del.; one brother, Edward Lee Fields Jr., of Fair Hill, Md.; mother, Charlotte Dodge and husband Keith of Fair Hill, Md.; paternal grandfather, John "Paw Paw" Fields; and her two dogs, Hardy and Bella Rose and numerous cats.
A visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 from 2-4p.m. at Fellows Family Funeral Home 370 Cypress St. Millington, Md.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Educational Fund set up for the children c/o BB&T Bank Millington Branch 400 Cypress St. Millington, Md. 21651. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.fhnfuneralhome.com
