OCEAN VIEW - Michael V. Eaton of Ocean View, formerly of Baltimore, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at his home. He was 48.
He was born in Baltimore and was a graduate of Patapsco High School in Dundalk, Md.
Michael was a hard worker who, in his spare time, enjoyed fishing, crabbing, working out and playing sports.
He enjoyed playing sports with children and was a former Little League baseball coach.
Michael was very personable, had a "heart of gold" and loved to socialize.
He was a member of High Tide Baptist Church of Dagsboro.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Eaton in 2006.
He is survived by his father, Clarence "Vernon" Eaton of Frankford; a son, Michael Ross Eaton of Ocean View; daughter, Rachel Lynn Eaton and her boyfriend, Shawn Prettyman , both of Ocean View; sister, Karen Zamenski of Baltimore; two nephews, William Michael Nemethy and Matthew David Zamenski, both of Baltimore.
A memorial service will be held at noon, Monday at the Bethany Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Avenue, Ocean View.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to High Tide Baptist Church, P.O. Box 127, Dagsboro, DE 19939.
