GEORGETOWN - Michael Lee Reed of Georgetown died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, in his home. He was 58.
Mr. Reed was born in Clearspring, Md., son of the late Jess P. and Catherine (Cartwright) Reed.
He moved from Hagerstown, Md., to Delaware in 1976.
He was a maintenance supervisor for Allen Family Foods for 20 years.
Mr. Reed loved to work and listen to the radio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Corlin Wagner and Catherine Gaton; and a brother, Dale Reed.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda B. Reed; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael Lynn and Tanya Reed of Lincoln, Dale Lee and Catherine Reed of Broadway, Va., and Russell Wayne Reed of Bridgeville; a brother, Jesse Reed of Milton; four sisters, Patsy Netz of Milford, Phyllis Dival of Clearspring, Darlene Crowe of Virginia and Loretta Rager of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Melinda Reed, Sarah Reed, Rusty Reed and Dale Lee Reed Jr.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Union Cemetery, East Adams Street, Georgetown. The Rev. Michael Williams will officiate.
