DOVER -Michael L. Keller of Dover died Wednesday June 13, 2012 at home. Mr. Keller was born Oct. 21, 1930 in Baltimore, Md., to the late Adam Keller and Mary Licharowicz Keller. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars serving in the United States Air Force until his retirement in 1985. After his retirement he worked for Firestone/Carl King Tires. He was a life member of the Air Force Sgt Association also a member of the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post #2, the Camden Wyoming Moose Lodge, AARP, Modern Maturity Center and Holy Cross Catholic Church. Mr. Keller enjoyed fishing, traveling and making people laugh. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Rosalie "Betty" Keller of Dover; cousins, Joanna Horseman of Dundalk, Md, Antoinette Staley and her husband Dave of Kennett Square, Pa., and Dorothy Weidner and her husband Joe of Eldersburg, Md.; sister in law, Sarah Merrill of Bricktown, N.J.; nieces, Theresa Steiner, and Janise Michael and her husband Thomas all of Piscataway, N.J.; nephews, Maurice Arnone and his wife Joann of Manchester, N.J. and Paul Thielman and his wife Margaret of Hockessin, Del.; and several grand-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m,. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901 Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
