Michael Hamilton/ Jennie Cabbiness

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of beloved father, friend, brother, and husband- Michael Tate Hamilton, born July 30, 1969 to the late Jane (Polly) and Russel Hamilton. He was the youngest of a blended family consisting of seven of Polly's children and two of Russel's. Michael studied at the Culinary Institute of America where he perfected the art of culinary delight and took his passion for creating dishes to the next level.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle; son, Michael; daughter, Alexandra; stepson, Aedan; six brothers, sisters, and their families, along with a plethora of faithful friends.

An upcoming burial service will be held at 10:30 am at Saint George's Cemetary (20274 Beaver Dam Road (Rt 23), Harbeson, DE 19951) on Aug. 19, 2018. This service will also acknowledge Michael Hamilton's late sister, Jennie Cabbiness, whose ashes will be buried alongside his.

Jennie Cabbiness, born on Dec. 5, 1961 to the late Jane (Polly) Hamilton and Harry (Craig) Bell, passed in May of 2013 to cancer. She is survived by husband, Jacob Cabbiness; two children, Jane and Zach Cabbiness, and a handful of siblings, friends, and colleagues.
Our family welcomes all friends and loved ones to this informal gathering to celebrate the lives of and bid farewell to these beloved siblings.
