Menno Ash, 83
TOWNSEND - Menno Ash, of Townsend, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, in Christiana Care-Christiana Hospital, Newark, surrounded by his family. He was 83.
Mr. Ash was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He retired from the Chrysler Corp. in 1981 after 30 years as an auto worker. After his retirement, he worked for his son"s company, Ash Trucking, in New Castle.
In his spare time, he loved to visit the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Ash was a member of Moose Lodge 1578, New Castle.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Irene, in 1997; six brothers; and a sister.
He is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard L. and Mary Ash of Middletown, and James F. and Sharon Ash of Townsend; a brother and a sister-in-law, Daniel and Eunice Ash of New Castle; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be noon Wednesday in the Daniels and Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial with military honors will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.

Bradley, 41
FELTON - David Christopher Bradley of Felton passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, in his home. He was 41.
Mr. Bradley was born in Lansdale, Pa., son of William and Wanda Trzaska Bradley of Naples, Fla.
He was a senior design engineer with ILC, where he had worked for the past 20 years.
Mr. Bradley enjoyed playing shuffleboard, computer games and bowling. He loved collecting Yu-Gi-Oh cards with his son and playing card games with his daughter, and had a special love for the family"s dogs, Sparky and Layla. He was a beloved husband, father and son, and a kind and gentle soul.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Karen Bias Bradley; a daughter, Natalie Bradley, 12, and a son, David "DJ" Bradley, 9, both of the family home; his parents, William and Wanda Bradley of Naples; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Susan Bailey of Vermont, and Amy and Art Hoath of Florida; and a brother and a sister-in-law, Bill and Isabelle Bradley of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be private.
