WYOMING - Melvin Ray Hearn, Jr. passed away Thurs., July 18, 2013, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Ray had worked as a fork lift operator for Excel, Inc. in Dover, for the past 6 years. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, tattooing, and drawing. Ray was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pearl and Earl Thorpe; and a cousin, Rodney Coppock. He is survived by his three children, Paige, Dylan, and Haley Hearn, all of Dover; his mother, Lou-wanna McNatt of Wyoming; He was blessed with having three fathers, Clarence McNatt, Melvin Ray Hearn, Sr., and Robert Erwin; two sisters, Angela Erwin of Hartly and Melissa Patterson of Magnolia; two brothers, Joseph McNatt of Dover and Brandon Hearn of Va.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Mon., July 22, 2013, in Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
