DOVER - Melanie Elizabeth Langdon passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2015 at A.I. DuPont Hospital, Wilmington. Melanie was born April 19, 2012 in Olean, N.Y. to Aaron Langdon and Samantha Edwards. She was a very loving little girl and loved to play hide and seek with her brother and sister. Melanie had a lot of gifts but the most special one was making you feel like you were the most important person in the world. She always had a smile that would brighten your day. Her memories will always be cherished. She is survived by her parents, Aaron Langdon and Samantha Edwards of Dover; sister, Avalee I. Langdon; brother, David F. Langdon both at home; grandmothers, Janet Woodhead of Redding, Calif., Ann Langdon and her fiancé Ken Unverdorben of Olean, N.Y., Letitia Hale of Olean, N.Y.; grandfathers, Ronald Edwards of Shelbyville, Ky., Frederick Langdon of Olean, N.Y.; great grandmothers, Linda Martello of Olean, N.Y. and Shirley Woodhead of Cottonwood, Calif.; great great grandmother, Diane Langdon and her husband Richard of Friendship, N.Y. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and two special aunts, Alexandra Edwards and Taylor Tobin and special uncle, Nate Unverdorben. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 12-2. A memorial service will be held in Olean, N.Y. in the Spring of 2016. Family requests no flowers please. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
