Maywood A. (Dulin) Burchard, 89
DENTON, Md. - Maywood A. (Dulin) Burchard, formerly of Denton, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008, in the family farm near Blackistons Crossroad. She was 89.
Maywood was born March 28, 1919, in Clayton, to the late Elwood E. and Gladys (Sennett) Dulin.
She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, in 1996; two brothers, Samuel Dulin Sr. and William Dulin; and a sister-in-law, Jean (Dulin) Wothers.
Maywood is survived by two brothers, N. Elwood Dulin and his wife Arlene and Donald E. Dulin Sr. and his wife Florence, all of Clayton; two sisters-in-law, Eve Knussman and her husband Herman of Denton and Mildred Dallas; an adopted sister-in-law, Pat Hanvas; a host of nieces and nephews, Lee and Lea Dulin, Margie (Dulin) and Steve Sinclair, Bonnie (Dulin) and Rob Sampere, David and Christine Dulin, Susan (Dulin) and John Hughes, Michael and Kim Dulin, Cindy (Dulin) and Bill Embert, Donald Dulin Jr., Sandy (Dulin) and Andy Cherriman, Kevin and Kim Knussman, Francis and Adrienne Knussman, Diane Larrimore and David Stant; 16 great-nieces and nephews; and six great-great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and also an hour before the services on Friday.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
