SEAFORD - Maxine Lynette "Peggy" Parker, passed away on Dec. 31, 2008, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford, after a short illness. She was 52. She was the daughter of the late Shelton and Lillian Parker of Seaford. Her maternal and paternal grandparents also preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing, one sister, Bernice Dennis of Delmar, Md.; one son, Tremaine Parker of Georgetown; one brother, Howard Parker of Smyrna; one granddaughter; one aunt, Cora Miller of Rehoboth Beach; three uncles, Courtland Hood of Slaughter Neck, Thomas Hood and Shelia of Redden, George Hood and Edith of Seaford; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28 at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Seaford, where friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Burial will be in Seaford.
