MAGNOLIA - Maureen A. "Moe" Welsh passed away on December 24, 2022. Moe was born on January 6, 1959, in New York City.
Moe served in the Armed Forces in both the Army and the Air Force. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse who worked at several local health care facilities. Ms. Welsh also worked as a substitute teacher at Delaware Tech.
Moe was a member of Holy Cross Parish in Dover where she was a member of the choir and volunteered as a Cantor. She was active in the American Legion in Betterton, MD. She loved animals, especially her pet dogs and cats. She enjoyed traveling, visiting Ireland, North Carolina and recently Alaska.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen, and her father.
She is survived by her friend and companion, Mike Roberts; brother, Steve Boylan; a half brother, Kevin Donnelly; extended family and friends, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews to include brother-in-laws, Mike Welsh (Amy) & Jim Welsh (Kathy), a niece, Christina & a nephew, Andrew. She will be missed by her former husband, Paul Welsh.
Funeral Mass Thursday, January 5, 2022, 12 Noon at The Church of the Holy Cross, 631 S. State Street, Dover, DE followed by interment with Military Honors at Delaware Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.
