Losonczy Mathé Anna "Anni" Losonczy Mathé, born in 1919 in Budapest, Hungary, passed peacefully in January 2014 in Erd, Hungary. Anni, an accomplished pharmacist was the beloved wife of Jeno Mathé and devoted sister to twin brothers John Losonczy and Vince Vetter. Anni lived a life dedicated to her faith and her family. Living in Hungary, Australia and the United States, she was a friend to those in need, especially, animals and stray dogs who would always find their way to her door and heart. Anni, like her brothers, was a remarkable artist and painter who dedicated time to these pursuits throughout her life, but especially in retirement. She enjoyed much of the last 20 years of her life caring for her younger brother Vince. An angel on earth and now in Heaven, Anni was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband and brother, Vince. She is survived by her beloved brother, John Losonczy and his wife Marta; loving nieces and nephew, Moira Vetter, Dr. Marta "Marcy" Losonczy-Marshall and John "J.P." Losonczy. A Mass and Services for Anni Mathé (and her brother Vince Vetter, who passed in February 2009) will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 535 Riverside Drive, Salisbury, MD 21801. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover, Delaware 19904, the resting place of her mother Anna Losonczy.
