GOSHEN, Ky. - Maryan Virgina Schuler Nichols, known as "Ginger", age 69, beloved mother, sister, daughter, mom-mom, and great- grandmother, went to be with her Heavenly Father on February 13, 2016 in Goshen, Ky. She was born in Milford, Delaware on June 8, 1946. She was preceded in death by her father, Grover Buddy Schuler; and mother, Dortha Miranda Potter; husband, David Lee Nichols; and son, David "Troy" Nichols. Mrs. Nichols is survived by her daughter, Jodi Lee Arthur (Richard) of Goshen, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, a great-grandson; and three canine companions, Scotty, Jack, and Kodi. She is a member of the Class of 1964 from Milford High School. She retired from Lowe's Home Improvement after working in multiple stores in Delaware and Kentucky. She loved her genealogy and was a life-long Elvis Presley fan. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and camping with her husband in their RV. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until service time with an internment following at Milford Community Cemetery (Odd Fellows Cemetery).
