Mary Sue Ross

SMYRNA - Mary Sue Ross, died on Saturday, Mar. 11, 2017, at her home.
Mary Sue was born on Nov. 12, 1930, the daughter of the late George N. Ross and Alice Jones Ross.
She graduated from Smyrna High School and retired from Reichold Chemical Company in Cheswold.
She was involved with the construction of houses in the Smyrna-Clayton area.
Mary Sue was a lifelong member of Ewells-St. Paul United Methodist Church in Clayton.
She was an avid softball player and served as President of A.A.R.P., Dover Chapter.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles B. Ross and George V. Ross.
She is survived by one brother, Frank B. Ross; nephew, Charles B. Ross, Jr.; nieces, Deborah B. Ross, Candy L. Coker and Tracey A. Hamburg; two sisters-in-law, Alice Ross and Doris Ross; and her friend and caregiver, Pat Stombaugh.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, Mar. 18, 2017, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Ewells St. Paul United Methodist Church in Clayton. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be privately held at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Ewells St. Paul U.M.C., P.O. Box 266, Clayton, DE 19938, or to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19904.
