Wilkerson, 53 SMYRNA - Mary Louise Wilkerson, of Smyrna, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 in the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill, Smyrna. She was 53. Mary was born, August 22, 1960 in Wilmington, to the Late- Lloyd & Emma (Poore) Wilkerson; and lived most of her life in Smyrna. Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend, and a very loving caring person. She was the matriarch of the family, always willing to lend a hand. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, playing games, and being on line. She will be greatly missed by all. Mary is survived by her children, Deanna M. Wilkerson, of Clayton, James Wilkerson, of Dover, April Wilkerson, of Wilmington, and Michelle Morgan, of Kenton; three brothers, Phillip, James, and Edward Wilkerson; a sister, Dorothy Gruwell; and ten grandchildren. Services will be 4 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2013, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc. 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming, Del; where family and friends may view from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Burial will take place privately at a later date.
